6 months!!

I would be more likely to believe that this little man is 6 weeks old than 6 months. He makes life so easy the time has just flown by. He is so awesome and sweet and laid back. He just drinks you in with his eyes. This might be hard to imagine, but trust me- you feel bad looking away from him. He just looks at you like you hung the moon! He loves to be held and snuggle up real close to you. He hardly ever fusses and you can usually remedy the situation easily with a diaper change or a little dinner:) I am amazed with this precious angel and am totally, 100%, completely smitten with him. What makes life even sweeter is how much his big sister loves him. Whenever we are out and someone stops to talk with us, she runs over to her brother and points to him and says, "brother, brother", until you acknowledge her wonderful brother:) She worries if one of his socks falls off or if his paci is on the ground and brings it to you, like hurry, look what happened, fix it. When we load Will up in the carseat, Ellie is right there, throwing in blankets, pacis, putting his hat on him- it's so cute. Yesterday, Will was in his crib and he had just woken up from a nap and was fussing. Ellie went running in there and by the time I got in there, she had scaled the crib in order to check on her brother. And he thinks she is the greatest too. Whenever he sees her, he just grins so big. You can tell he thinks he is the luckiest little man in the world.
He found his tongue last week and can't get enough of it.

Ellie giving Will a kiss.

You can tell who is really in control at our house:)

Now this may look worse than it really is. This has only happened twice to my knowledge. Usually, when I am busy in the kitchen cooking dinner, it gets real quiet, so I immediately run to see what is going on. I do not know how she gets in, I have never seen that part, but she must be very agile because Will doesn't even let out a squeak to inform me that something is going on. The 1st time this happened I quickly, but gently, removed the larger of the two children and then held Will and checked all his ribs to make sure nothing was broken. The 2nd, and last, time this happened, I made sure everyone was ok and then had to capture this moment. You always want your kids to enjoy playing together, but maybe not this closely:)
