What a fun weekend!

Like I said previously, I love the wintertime, and this past weekend was full of all kinds of things I love. We picked out our Christmas tree and decorated it, my mom and Ellie made homemade Christmas cookies and I had a DELICIOUS birthday dinner at Houston's. On Friday, we met my friend Amanda Foley, she lives in Memphis, but was in town visiting her sister, at the mall and played around. She is an amazing friend and so patient with my wild kids. I think/ hope she really does like hanging out with my crazy family:) Bert and Will picking out just the right one!

My birthday cake. Last year, Bert had a work party at our house, so Ellie and I stayed at the Four Seasons because the party was going late. Bert was so thoughtful and he sent up a cake for me. When he asked what cake I wanted this year, I told him I wanted the room service cake from the Four Seasons. I wasn't sure if he could make that happen, but to my surprise- he did!! It is so so so good. It's chocolate mousse and raspberry inside. YUM!



Honestly, who is surprised that this happend?!? (Besides me in this video) We are "an accident waiting to happen" at our house.

WARNING... Turn your volume down for this one. My mom is unaware of how sensitive our camera is to sounds. She sounds like she has a mega phone. Ellie was eating the cookie dough faster than we decorate them. I was sure she was going to have a tummy ache later, but instead she was just on a major sugar high for the rest of the evening. So much Christmastime fun!!
