This past weekend was so much fun. Even before I left for Memphis, on Friday morning, I was able to get together for coffee here in Dallas with my friend Kim Willis Wood. We met at JH ranch and went to Auburn together. She lives in CA now with her precious husband Cam, also a JH rancher, and she was in town visiting some friends. I love reconnecting with old friends. The shower went great, everyone did an awesome job and I think Steph had a good time too.

Everyone keeps asking how Bert did with Ellie all weekend- just the two of them. Well, they did awesome. Sweet Bert said he would do it any time. They went to the Local Diner for breakfast on Saturday and had pancakes and eggs, went to the mall and played at the play area and then went to DQ that afternoon for ice cream. SO much fun!
P.S. Ellie and I went to the community pool here in Coppell this morning and it was SO much fun. They have a special kid area with a huge play gym in the middle. There is a gradual decline, like at the beach, on one side, and that is where the Belle and I camped out all morning watching everyone play. It was so nice, except for the fact that Ellie threw my sunglasses under the play gym, but she is pooped out taking her nap- what a fun morning!
