Ellie's birthday extravaganza started Saturday April 2 and lasted until Monday April 4th, when this child after my own heart said, "ok, I am taking my party hat off now, the party is over".
I LOVE HER!!
Bert, Will, Ellie and I joined Diana, Ryan, and Delaney on Saturday morning at the Sandy Lake amusement park. The best way I can describe this park is "home- grown". When we first moved here, I swore I would never go because it looked dirty and maybe not quite up to all the safety codes. I am happy to eat those words though. We had a great time and the kids were able to play on a variety of rides, even little ol' Will:)

Sweet Diana made a birthday cake for Delaney and Ellie (their birthdays are 2 days apart). She even made the cake with green icing for Ellie and purple writing for Delaney (her favorite color). Here I am trying to keep my hooligans from touching the cake before it's time.
On to the Green Birthday party, as Ellie called it. Our first guest:):)

Worth and ate at the Ole' South Pancake House with my cousin Hillary. It was her birthday on April 3rd and she goes to TCU, so we had a little birthday celebration with her too!! We went to the Ft. Worth Zoo after that and I took pictures with my camera, but the memory card wasn't in there, so I am still figuring out what to do about that:/
