Christmas 2010 (some of it:)

Since my last post, we have been pretty busy. I turned 29- yikes! Bert and I ran a half marathon. Bert had been fighting a cold, but thought he felt good enough to run it the morning of. Turns out 3 weeks later we find out he had walking pneumonia. So the gold ribbon definitely goes to him! Bert and I went to the Atlantis with Bert's work. It was super relaxing and the weather was great. No pictures, but you can look at last year's post and everything pretty much looks the same. We celebrated Christmas here in Dallas and then we loaded everyone, including Charlie, and headed to Birmingham for a few days. (Mrs. Bean, if you are reading this, will you please send me some pictures from your camera- thanks). We had such a great time visiting the Beans. Even though we all were fighting a cold- pretty normal for us around the holidays- I think everyone had a fun time. Sissy and Ellie baked cookies, Will loved riding Lucky the horse (one of those springy play horses) and we all loved playing X Box Kinect. Thanks Beans for a wonderful Christmas! This is Ellie and her friend Delaney. There is a man in the neighborhood that sits on a sleigh and you take pictures with him. I know this sounds sketchy, but it was alot of fun and he wasn't weird or anything;) Can you feel the excitement?!?!
Will chickened out when game time rolled around, but he was excited up until then.

Ellie is a little OCD and she kept wanting to tell Santa about the Christmas trees on her shirt. She could not focus on anything else:)

After Santa, we came back to our house and opened presents. Here Ellie is playing her new piano in her Cinderella costume with her princess doll collection as the audience. I am pretty sure she is telling Will not to touch it. Will is carrying around a silver baby cup that my mom and dad gave the kids.

Getting dolled up!

Will riding his fire truck! Hold your excitement Will- just kidding. He really did love it.

We weren't able to go to Mimi and Bubba's for Christmas this year, so they sent their presents to Dallas. So thank you Mimi and Bubba for our fun toys- love Ellie and Will
