Ellie and her new doll house that Mimi (Grandma Pennel) got her. It makes all kinds of sounds, like the door bell rings and the telephone rings and she thinks it's especially funny when she makes the toilet flush:) I can't believe she is old enough to play with a doll house.
Will one morning about 3 a.m. He is so precious. He hardly ever cries, he just squeaks all the time. It is so funny.
Mimi came to visit for about a week beforehand and a week after. So thankful to have the help, especially keeping Ellie busy.

Ok, so traumatic event of the week. Not 30 minutes after my mom pulls out of our driveway to head back to Memphis, when Ellie falls and hits her teeth on the foot board of our bed. Yes, those are her little teeth marks. There was blood and tears, from both Ellie and me. I saw her fall and then all I saw were these teeth marks! I was throwing water on her face to try to see through the blood what all was going on, but I know nothing about teeth, so we both ended up soaking wet. We almost went to the pediatric dentist, but she seemed fine the next day and it is just her baby teeth, right? I couldn't bring myself to look at the bed the rest of the day until Bert got home, and I cried some more and Ellie just looked at me, like, "What's the big deal Mom?". So, hormonal mom and wild child might make an emergency room trip here before long, so don't be surprised. We are an accident waiting to happen:)

Will is precious, Anna! Congratulations. I wish I could see you guys and meet your sweet kids. Maybe one day we will be in Memphis at the same time :)
ReplyDeleteGreat 3 AM shot of Will, he is adorable. Ellie is all grown up, I hated how fast buck seemed to get older once Theodore made his way here. I baby Theodore more than I did Buck because of that, poor guy will have me giving him a bottle till 30! Sorry about Ellie's injury, I totally get that. Take care. You are doing great!
