Ellie "Jelly" Bean turns 1!!

Ellie turned one on April 4, 2009. We went to Memphis to celebrate so that we could be closer to family and friends. Wesley, Claire and Kate and Stephanie and J.Ed drove in from Nashville and the Beans came in from Birmingham. Ellie had so much fun playing with her cousins and it was so good to see everyone. Sweet Alicia and Jonathan took a break from their precious girls to stop by the party too! Ellie was such a sport and only pooped out when we were opening presents- she napped for 2 1/2 hours after her party.

I can't believe she is already 1 year old. I really appreciate everyone coming and sharing in this special birthday. It is so wonderful to know all the people who love and care about your precious child like you do.

Some things she has been doing in months 11-12:

eating more "big " people food- 1st grilled cheese, bagels, eggs, grits, rolls

walking a bit (only when she feels like it:)

LOVING her baby dolls

helping me turn pages in her books

climbing the stairs at the playground

Dada is her favorite word

had her 1st cold this month- took Amoxil

growing teeth like a mad woman- I think we are up to 6

wearing shoes alot more

facing forward in her big girl carseat
