Bert and I were able to scoot away for a wonderful, relaxing weekend to Laguna Beach to celebrate our anniversary. The weather was so pleasant and we enjoyed being outside the whole time. We went running in the morning, hung out at the beach, went shopping and ate at delicious restaurants- including a Peet's Coffee & Tea- my FAVORITE! Laguna Beach was so cute and I was surprised how many families were there. It seemed everyone was pushing a stroller AND carrying a baby in a baby bjorn.

The pool and beach. There was a wedding on the grassy area Saturday evening and it was beautiful.
We ate dinner here on Sunday night- so good!
While we were away, the Beans played and played. Mr. and Mrs. Bean were so sweet to come and watch the kiddos. They fit more into the weekend than I have probably accomplished in a month. Here Mr. Bean and Will are walking to the park.
It was a special weekend at the park and they had a jump house that Ellie LOVED.
Next day, more swinging at the park.
Later that afternoon, they drove to Ft. Worth and played at the Stockyards. Mr. Bean and Ellie at the petting zoo.

Ellie had her 1st day of MMO this morning and she did great!! Yay for school!

We love looking at photos of Ellie and Will and reading all your descriptions of the days. Sounds like your trip was great. Thank you sooo much again for coming to our wedding - we know how much trouble that was for you. We look forward to seeing you soon. OHH - am sending Will and Ellie a book so look for it soon.
